Nigerian singer-songwriter, Augustine Moses has officially rebranded from Ostin Stylez to Ostin Austin, marking a new phase in his music career as he sets his sights on broader recognition within the Afrobeats industry.
The artiste, known for his soulful vocals and emotionally driven song writing, said the new identity reflects both his artistic growth and personal evolution.
Ostin Austin has built a growing fan base with songs such as Missing Your Bum, Side Piece, Peekaboo, Your Body, Leave My Life and Fire More. According to him, the rebrand comes ahead of the release of a string of new projects that will highlight his versatility and expanding musical direction.
The singer described the name change as a reflection of the person and artiste he is becoming.
“This new chapter represents my journey toward embracing who I am creatively and personally. The name feels authentic and reflects the bold, fresh and confident artist I’m evolving into,” he said.
The musician added that while his identity has changed, fans can still expect the same emotional depth and authenticity that have defined his music, alongside a refreshed sound aimed at making a stronger impact on the Afrobeats and Afro-pop scene.
With the rebrand, Ostin Austin says he is focused on strengthening his connection with audiences at home and abroad as he continues his pursuit of a place on the global music stage.
