Onyeka Onwenu, AKA ‘Elegant Stallion’, a Nigerian veteran music star, has been buried in Lagos State.
Onwenu’s funeral was held in the Fountain of Life Church in Lagos’ Ilupeju area of Lagos, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi.

Onwenu was a singer-songwriter, actor, journalist, activist, and politician.
The late singer slumped and died on July 30 at Reddington Hospital in Ikeja, after singing at the birthday celebration of Dr Stella Okoli, Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi attended Onwenu’s burial ceremony.
