Sims eyes electricity boost with launch of new subsidiary

Sims Nigeria Limited has  announced the launch of its new sister company, Sims Power. Focused on delivering uninterrupted power supply solutions, Sims Power aims to empower Nigerians with reliable and sustainable energy options.

The launch event showcased a prestigious lineup of global brands including Royal, Su-kam, and Huawei.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Simeon Eyisi, Chairman of Sims Nigeria Limited, emphasized the critical need for alternative power solutions in Nigeria. He congratulated Sims Power on its launch and expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s potential. Mr. Eyisi stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to drive technological advancements and wider access to these solutions across Africa.

Sims Power will provide residential and commercial customers with access to sustainable solar solutions, promoting cleaner air, reducing health hazards, and lessening the burden on the national grid.

The event garnered significant media attention, with major media houses capturing the launch, it highlighted the potential impact on the Nigerian Green Energy industry.
