All is set for the 18th edition of ‘Arise Women 2026’, the annual humanitarian programme convened by corporate lawyer and businesswoman, Dr Siju Iluyomade through her non-profit, Arise Women Foundation.

The two-day global event, scheduled for October 31 and November 1, will hold in Victoria Island, Lagos, with thousands of participants expected both physically and online. With the theme, ‘IMPACT’, the 2026 edition is designed to be transformational, building on the success of last year’s edition which saw thousands of individuals empowered across various sectors.
The event will open on October 31 with the ‘Arise Walk For Life’, a health awareness walk aimed at sensitising the public on healthy living and preventive healthcare. Participants will walk several kilometres within Victoria Island and conclude with a dance routine featuring gospel artistes, comedians and top celebrities.
On November 1, the Arise Women Conference will be held at the ballroom of Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos where prominent Nigerian women are expected to deliver speeches centered on the theme: ‘IMPACT’. Thousands of less privileged persons will also participate and receive Arise Pink Bucket packages containing foodstuffs.
Over the last 18 years, ‘Arise Women’ has catered to thousands of less privileged households across Nigeria. Its interventions include building and equipping hospitals and schools in rural communities, construction of boreholes, deployment of mobile clinics, setting up of computer centres, and hosting women empowerment sessions.
Dr Iluyomade said this year’s programme will further deepen the Foundation’s mission to enlighten, empower and reward participants while creating lasting impact in communities.
