According to a statement by his media aide, Stanley Nkwocha, the Vice President will attend the 39th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly of Heads of State and Government on February 14, followed by the 30th General Assembly on February 15.

“On the margins, the Vice President will engage in high-level side events and bilateral talks with African political and business leaders to boost Nigeria’s diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties,” the statement read.
Shettima is accompanied by cabinet ministers and senior officials, with a return to Nigeria planned after his engagements.
