Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has stated that his late mother, Veronica Hailey Imade Adeleke, was a “baddie.”
In a recent Instagram post, the ‘OBO’ crooner remembered his late mother and revealed this.
Sharing a picture of his late mom in her academic regalia, Davido wrote: “My mom was a baddie.”
It should be recalled that Davido’s mother, Mrs. Veronica Adeleke, died on March 6, 2003, at the age of 39.

She was a lecturer at Babcock University, where Davido eventually earned a music degree.
She also formed a band named ‘Davido’s Band’ in honor of her kid.
Davido named his two daughters, Imade and Hailey, after her.
