The Senior Special Assistant to Ondo Governor on Entertainment and Tourism, Oluseyi Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has faulted former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s take on the emoluments of National Assembly members.
Obasanjo said it was immoral for National Assembly members to determine their salaries and allowances.
The octogenarian said this when he hosted some members of the House of Representatives in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital on Friday.
The former president said the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMFAC) should statutorily determine what public officeholders earn.
Reacting in an X post on Sunday, Seyi Law mocked the former president.
The popular comedian said, “If only Baba was Nigeria’s president, he wouldn’t have nursed a 3rd term agenda.
