Contrary to rumours circulating on social media, popular broadcaster, Seun Okinbaloye has not been sacked by Channels Television.
Prof. Farooq Kperogi, a United States-based professor and associate of the broadcaster, revealed this on Saturday.
Kperogi said he communicated with the broadcaster, who confirmed he had not been fired by the media organisation.
According to the academic, Okinbaloye is presently vacationing in the US.

“Channel TV’s Seun Okinbaloye has NOT been fired, contrary to social media rumours doing the rounds.
“I communicated with him a few hours ago, and he said he is on vacation here in the United States and still very much in the employ of Channels TV,” he said.
He said Okinbaloye described his rumoured sacking as “fake news”.
