Following the controversy surrounding the future of Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, renowned sports statistics company, Opta, highlighted that only two Serie A players past and present currently boast a superior minutes-per-goal ratio compared to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

The football statistics company released its findings amid concerns about Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s market value and quality, particularly due to difficulties in finding a European club willing to meet his release clause.

In a recent post on X, Opta highlighted that only retired Brazil international Ronaldo Nazário and Portugal superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo have a better minutes-per-goal ratio than Osimhen in Serie A since the 1994/1995 season.
