Atalanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini has described Ademola Lookman as one of the best players in the world.
Lookman has thrived after joining Bergamo from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in 2022.
The clever winger finished 14th in the Ballon d’Or 2024 rankings.
The Nigerian international was just named Africa’s best player.

This season, the 27-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions for La Dea.
Gasperini heaped praise on his team’s talisman for increasing his consistency.
“He’s [Lookman] a top player. In terms of character, there are perhaps players who have more continuity and are more solid, but that’s normal,” Gasperini was quoted by Sosfanta.
“Even his role is difficult. He always has to be very fit, but he has become a truly extraordinary player, among the best in Europe and the world.
“Because he has improved his consistency and in some ways he has started to be an important Atalanta player”.
