The appeal trial involving Senegalese supporters detained in Morocco has once again been postponed, with the new hearing date set for April 13, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The case, which was initially scheduled to proceed as planned, could not be heard after the presiding judge ordered an adjournment, further delaying proceedings.

The supporters have remained in custody in the North African country following incidents of unruly behaviour during the final match between Morocco and Senegal in January.

Despite efforts by the Government of Senegal, which assembled a team of lawyers to handle the case, the matter has continued to suffer repeated adjournments, raising concerns over the prolonged detention of the fans.
