Cross River lawmakers endorse Gov Otu

The Cross River State Commissioner for Education Senator Stephen Odey and the Yache Nation expressed strong support for the state governor, Senator Bassey Otu.

 

The commissioner, alongside the people of Yache have unanimously endorsed the governor for a second term.

 

This was reached during the Yache Town Hall meeting held Alifokpa-Yache, Yala LGA over the weekend.

 

Speaking during the meeting, Senator Odey appreciated the governor for being the first governor to visit Yache.

 

He also thanked the governor for his development strides in the area particularly the Yache Alifokpa road, the first tarred road in Yache as well as the Akreha bridge construction, employment opportunities, and many more.

 

He pledged to continue his steadfast commitment to Yache’s development and also presented scholarships to 33 students of Yache origin and one from Okpudu in Okpoma ward.

 

The meeting’s climax was the unanimous endorsement of Senator Apostle Prince Bassey Edet Otu for a second term.
