Senator for Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Saturday led members of the Great Lekki Ikoyi Fitness Club (Igboezue) on a familiarisation visit to the Deputy Governor of Lagos State and APC’s 2027 gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The meeting, which took place in Lagos, was described as a cordial engagement between the Deputy Governor and the club, whose membership is predominantly made up of industrious South-Eastern residents living in Lagos.
According to Senator Kalu, the meeting underscored the importance of unity, collaboration, and inclusive participation in nation-building.
It was noted that the engagement provided an opportunity for the club to interface with the deputy governor in a warm atmosphere.
Senator Kalu also expressed hope for a stronger relationship between the club and the Lagos State Government, built on shared values of progress, mutual respect, and prosperity for all.
