Senator Adeola mourns passing of Olu of Igbogila, says monarch’s death irreparable loss

Senator representing Ogun West senatorial district at the National Assembly, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has described the passage of the nonagenarian royal father of Igbogila-Yewa, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Ebenezer Olanloye Osungade, as a sad and great loss not only to the people of Igbogila and Yewaland but the entire Ogun State.
The monarch passed on at the age of 96 on March 2. 2024.
In a commiseration message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Kayode Odunaro, on Wednesday, Senator Adeola who is also the chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, commiserated with the people of Igbogila town and Yewa Traditional Council, noting that  the contribution of the late royal father to the development of Igbogila and Yewaland cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
He added that his role in the unity and progress of the people of Yewaland is commendable.
“We have lost a repository of the history of our people and its culture. This is a great and irreplaceable loss” he stated.
Senator Adeola prayed to God for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed monarch and the fortitude for the immediate family to bear the irreparable loss.
