The Senate has approved the removal of the chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Umar Danladi.
This followed the adoption of a motion by Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, calling for the invocation of provisions of Section 157(1) of the 1999 Constitution ( as amended) for the removal of the CCT chairman.
