StarTimes’ original dating reality show, Hello Mr Right, returns for its fourth season with new twists, including AI-powered matchmaking and a role reversal that puts women in control of the selection process.
Hosted by television personality and content creator Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, the new season will premiere with an audition episode on September 26 on ST Nollywood Plus. The audition will be rebroadcast on October 1, ahead of the main show’s October 3 premiere.
KieKie returns for her third consecutive season, alongside Nelson Enwerem, popularly known as Prince Nelson, who is returning as co-host for a second season.
Series Director, Jide Ali, said Season 4 would introduce “The Switch”, a format that reverses the traditional arrangement by having 12 men compete for the attention of one “Miss Right”.
“We also have an AI segment that matches contestants based on their profiles. AI uses its own assessment to match the lady it considers most compatible with the profile of Mr Right,” Ali said.

According to Series Producer Rotimi Babalogbon, the new season features a broader mix of contestants across professions, ages, backgrounds and body types, reflecting the diversity of modern dating experiences.
KieKie said that despite the technological and format changes, authenticity remains central to building lasting relationships.
“I just think it’s about being genuine and being real, being authentic, because relationships are one very quick way to expose your flaws,” she said.
StarTimes Marketing Director Oke Umurhohwo said the continued investment in the programme was driven by a desire to create original entertainment that reflects the realities of young Nigerians.
He added that the new season would be supported by an integrated campaign involving television, social media, influencer partnerships, contestant content and audience engagement.
With its expanded cast, AI-assisted matchmaking and revamped format, Season 4 of Hello Mr Right is expected to offer viewers a fresh take on love, attraction and compatibility. The show airs exclusively on ST Nollywood Plus on StarTimes.
