Saudi monarch reaffirms legitimate rights of Palestinians

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia yesterday made a telephone call to President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine, to discuss the Palestinian cause.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, King Salman reaffirmed the Kingdom’s firm position on the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

King Salman also highlighted the importance of continuing efforts to find a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue in accordance with relevant international resolutions.

The Palestinian President expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Kingdom’s support for Palestine and its people and for supporting their just causes. (KhaleejTimes)
