Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been tasked to enlighten the youth in the state on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Convener of Bodex Social Media Hangout (BSMH), Bodex Hungbo, made the appeal during her courtesy visit to the governor ahead of the sixth edition of the hangout, tagged: ‘Social Media and AI Influence: Transforming Yourself, Services, and the Society.”

Sanwo-Olu, she stated, has been appointed as the keynote speaker and grand patron of the body. She emphasised promotion of responsible media use, fostering of digital literacy, and empowerment of social media users across the country.
Also, Hungbo stated that Sanwo-Olu would be honoured with the ‘Most Digital Media Friendly Governor of the Year’ award at the grand finale of the programme, in recognition of his visionary leadership and commitment to leveraging technology for public engagement and transparency in governance.
The governor, who accepted the honour, commended the BSMH team for their efforts in bridging the gap between social media and societal progress. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote responsible media use and digital growth across the state. He emphasised that Lagos remains the heartbeat of innovation and creativity.
