Sanlam Nigeria hosted some policyholders to an elaborate children’s party in Lagos on Wednesday. The event, tagged ‘Sanlam Children’s Day Fun Fair’, was designed to celebrate beneficiaries of its flagship product, the Flexible Education plan (FlexiEdu) and their parents.

In a statement, the Senior Marketing Services Coordinator for Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited, Mr. Bankole Banjo, explained that Sanlam FlexiEdu plan is a children education plan that assures policyholders of the certainty of their children’s education come what may.

Available in two variants, FlexiEdu and FlexiEdu Plus, the plan has continued to excite policyholders for its inherent benefits to both policyholders and beneficiaries.

Speaking at the event, Tunde Mimiko, MD/CEO, Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited, restated the company’s unflinching commitment to adding value to the life of Nigerians as part of the brand’s overall quest to empower generations to be financially prosperous and confident.

“Our FlexiEdu plan remains one of the most viable education plans out there. Apart from its stated benefits, we decided to host our lovely children, beneficiaries of the plan, to a fun, classy and memorable event in Lagos on the occasion of this year’s children’s day celebration.”

Going further, Mimiko said: “This event would be an annual one and is our way of appreciating the parents who have demonstrated their love for their children by investing in this policy. We are confident that in no time, Sanlam Children’s Day Fun Fair will become the definitive Children’s Day Party in Nigeria.”

Mrs Olori Omotayo, who attended the event with her three children, expressed delight at the initiative and commended Sanlam for putting such a fun event together at no cost to the policyholders.

“I really enjoyed the experience; it was fun filled and perfectly organized with orderly processes. There was a very nice number of people to attain maximum fun. Catering services were also commendable alongside the snack stands; it was overall a really nice event.”

Mr Ola Adegbenro, another parent who came with his son, was effusive with praises for Sanlam Nigeria: “I and my son had the absolute pleasure of attending the Sanlam Fun Fair and it was exciting from start to finish. We left the Fun Fair with a huge smile, already planning for the next. It was a treat for all ages, not just the children, and I cannot wait to experience it again,” he added.
