The Kaduna State Government on Friday, formally opened the 2025 Batch C Orientation Course for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to the state.

In his address, Governor Sani, represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim, congratulated the new corps members on completing their academic programmes and qualifying for national service, describing their deployment as a demonstration of their commitment to Nigeria’s unity, peace, and progress.
He reaffirmed the importance of the NYSC scheme, established in 1973, as a catalyst for national integration, youth empowerment and community development.

According to him, Kaduna State, known for its cultural diversity, enterprising people and opportunities offers corps members a unique blend of tradition and modernity.
The governor charged the corps members to uphold discipline, integrity and responsible conduct throughout their service year, including in their online engagements.
He emphasised the need for proper social media etiquette, warning that their behaviours both offline and online reflect not only on them, but also on their families, institutions and the nation. Sani reiterated his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for the NYSC to thrive, assuring the corps members of the government’s support and safety measures during their stay in the state.
He urged them to embrace their service year with patriotism, courage and a passion for positive impact, noting that their contributions are vital to building a united and prosperous Nigeria.
