The ongoing renovation of the Sango Ota Police Area Commander’s office is near completion.
The renovation exercise is being undertaken by the current area commander of the station, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mohammed Sanni Musa. Renovation of the building, which commenced in January, this year, when completed, would be the best police area command office in the country.
The building, according to a reliable source, has gulped millions of naira since the renovation kicked off to give the edifice a modern outlook. The former structure was constructed over 30 years ago. When contacted, his aides said, ACP Musa has travelled out of the station for further assignments.
Meanwhile, residents and landlords are commending the area commander for a job well done and best-among others for embarking on such gigantic renovation.
