The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 725 personnel to the streets and major areas of the state to enforce law and order and ensure a hitch-free celebration during the festive season.

According to a statement by ASCI Umar Mohammad, the Zamfara State Command Deputy Public Relations Officer, the state commandant has approved the deployment of seven hundred and twenty-five (725) personnel to safeguard citizens and their property during the Eid celebration proactively.

The Commandant, CC Sani Mustapha, confirmed the deployment to various Eid prayer grounds across the fourteen (14) local government areas of the state to ensure peace and order during pre-Eid, active Eid, and post-Eid el-Adha celebrations.

He further affirmed the consistency and display of professionalism from the NSCDC personnel in the state throughout the celebrations and beyond.

The state commandant concluded by saying, “NSCDC, under the able leadership of the Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi OFR mni, is poised to deliver and secure the nation from the clutches of insecurity efficiently, and the Zamfara state command shall not relent.”
