The seventh meeting ministers of Defence of the Community of Sahel Saharan States (CEN-SAD), is right now taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The meeting, which is being attended by defence ministers from about 23, countries, has Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, as special guest, who is expected to declare the two day meeting open.
Also in attendance are the minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, the Chief of Defence staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin, Minister for Defence of the United Kingdom, top military and police officers, among others.

The two-day meeting would focus purely on defence and security issues.
