Aubameyang, who is teammate to Alex Iwobi at Arsenal, further pleaded with the Iwobi to bring him a pair of Nigeria’s new jersey when he returns after a successful World Cup outing.

“I support Nigeria for World Cup because of my friend Alex Iwobi, but to tell the truth also because of your @nikefootball kit need one,” Aubameyang twitted.

Super Eagles were drawn in Group D of the World Cup and will open their campaign with a tough test against a star-studded Croatian team on June 16, before facing debutants, Iceland five days later.

The team will then fly to St. Petersburg on the 26th to face familiar foes, Argentina in their last group game.
