Royalty, Mayors, and leaders unite as Queen Florence Okonkwo

On Friday, September 26, 2025, the Regency Banqueting Suite in London came alive with glitz, glamour, and celebration as Her Royal Majesty Queen Florence Okonkwo was officially unveiled as the new Brand Ambassador of the EPRA Leadership and Entrepreneurial Awards.

The momentous occasion drew a distinguished gathering of global leaders, royals, entrepreneurs, and cultural icons, reflecting the wide-reaching influence of the EPRA Awards, a platform renowned for honouring excellence in leadership, innovation, and enterprise.

Among the dignitaries present were The Worshipful the Mayor of the London Borough of Haringey, Councillor Ahmed Mahbub, who presented a special ambassador award, and HRM Oba Adebisi Okunbanjo, the Obiri of Aiyepe Ijebu, Ogun State. Also in attendance were Aliyeluwa Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, The Aladeshoyin and Paramount Ruler of Odo Noforija Kingdom in Epe Division, Lagos State; Otunba Adesanya; Hon. Saray Karakus; and Dr. Dominic Mbang, Former Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Known for her dynamic contributions as a UK-based Nollywood filmmaker, actress, author, and entrepreneur, she had previously served as the “Face of the Brand” and was now celebrated for her transition into an even more globally significant position.
