Rotarian Emeka Kenneth Nsolibe has been officially installed as the 30th President of the Rotary Club of VGC, Lagos, ushering in a new chapter of leadership and humanitarian service for the 2026/2027 Rotary year.
The colourful investiture ceremony brought together distinguished Rotarians, community leaders, family members, friends, and partners who gathered to celebrate the club’s enduring commitment to selfless service and community development.
During the ceremony, President Nsolibe pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessors by strengthening the club’s impact in key areas including education, healthcare, youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, disease prevention, peacebuilding, and economic development.
He reaffirmed his commitment to Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” while calling on members to deepen collaboration in delivering sustainable projects that transform lives across their host communities.
Nsolibe also expressed appreciation to members of the Rotary Club of VGC for the confidence reposed in him, promising an inclusive and impactful administration that will expand the club’s humanitarian footprint and attract greater participation from professionals and philanthropists committed to making a difference.
The installation ceremony also featured the induction of new Rotarians, recognition of outstanding members for exemplary service, and a celebration of the club’s accomplishments over the past Rotary year.
Born on April 1, 1971, into the family of Mr. Julius Chukwuma Nsolibe and the late Mrs. Agnes Nsolibe of Umuezenkaram, Ubahuekwem in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, Emeka was raised with the timeless values of honesty, humility, hard work, faith, and compassion.
His educational foundation began at New Haven Primary School, Enugu, before he proceeded to the prestigious Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha, graduating with the Class of 1988.
Determined to equip himself with the knowledge required for a meaningful career, he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).
Never one to stop learning, he later obtained an MBA from the National Open University of Nigeria and a Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, USA, strengthening his expertise in one of the world’s most critical business disciplines. GeographicReference
Today, with more than twenty-eight years of professional experience, Emeka Nsolibe stands among Nigeria’s leading supply chain professionals.
His career has traversed some of the world’s biggest oil and gas companies, where he has consistently delivered excellence in procurement, logistics, contracts, supplier quality assurance, shipping, expediting, and materials management.
