Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Júnior on Tuesday made his debut for the Portugal U-15s in a 4-1 win against Japan.
Cristiano Jr. came on in the 54th minute as Portugal were leading 3-0 courtesy of a hat trick from Braga’s Rafael Cabral.
The younger Ronaldo, 14, plays as a forward for the Al Nassr academy.
Five-time Ballon D’Or winner, Ronaldo took to social media to celebrate his son’s debut for the national team.
“Congratulations on your Portugal, debut, son. Very proud of you,” he wrote.
Portugal U-15s are in Croatia for the Vlatko Markovic international tournament.
Tuesday’s clash with Japan was the first of four games lined up for the Selecção das Quinas.
Michael Rwabigwi’s side will next play Greece on Wednesday and England on Friday.
The final game, scheduled for Sunday, is against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
