Al Nassr coach Jorge Jesus has stated that Cristiano Ronaldo will travel to Spain for treatment after medical tests revealed that the injury he recently suffered is more serious than initially expected.
The development was made known by football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano in a post shared on his X account.
Jorge Jesus disclosed that the Portuguese forward would undergo further treatment in Madrid under the supervision of his personal therapist.
Speaking after the assessment of the injury, Jesus said the club’s medical team determined that Ronaldo required specialised treatment outside the country.

“After tests, we see the injury suffered by Cristiano Ronaldo was more serious than expected,” Jesus said.
“Cristiano will now travel to Spain, like other players who went for treatment when they were injured. His injury required treatment in Madrid with his personal therapist, and we hope he returns quickly and helps the team.”
Ronaldo’s absence is expected to be a concern for his club, Al‑Nassr FC, as they continue their campaign in domestic and continental competitions.
The club, however, remains hopeful that the veteran forward will recover quickly and return to action soon.
