American gospel music icon, Don Moen has mourned his friend and colleague, Ron Kenoly, whose death on February 3 has continued to draw tributes from fellow artistes, church leaders, and fans across the globe.
Kenoly died aged 81 in the United States.
In a tribute posted on Facebook on Wednesday, Don Moen shared a photo with the departed Kenoly, with whom he said he developed a long-lasting relationship.

He recounted their first meeting and subsequent partnership on various projects, adding that his “heart is heavy” with the loss of the octogenarian.
Don Moen wrote, “I’ll always remember meeting Ron Kenoly for the first time at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, California.
“He was leading worship, and I invited him on behalf of Integrity Music to lead worship for one of the Hosanna! Music releases that would become ‘Jesus Is Alive.’ That was just the beginning.
“Over the years we’d work on more projects, share stages around the world, and develop a long-lasting friendship. ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’ My heart is heavy with this loss, but I know one day I will see my friend again.”
