Former Nigerian coach and Benin Republic head coach, Genort Rohr is banking the Super Eagles to pick the remaining Africa ticket at the playoff in Morocco.
Rohr gave the Nigeria team his ovation after his team succumbed 4-0 to the superb performance of the Super Eagles.
“Nigeria today made a very good match. They deserve the result. We had good possessions and some opportunities to shoot for the goal, but it was not a lucky day for my team.
“I am still happy to see half of the players who were with me. I give Nigeria the support of the playoffs, I give you the support of the World Cup.” Rohr who blames the loss to unavailability of his key players felicitates with the Super Eagles.
Rohr added; “The best version of the Super Eagles squad must be sustained and improved for their next six games. The first three are very crucial if Nigeria must play in the World Cup finals. And the next three to go beyond the World Cup group stage.
“Luckily, fans are beginning to build confidence and trust in Coach Eric Chelle,” he said.
