Rivers United yesterday got its CAF Confederation Cup campaign back on track after defeating Group C leader, Club Africain of Tunisia 1-0 in Uyo.

This followed a 2-0 loss the team suffered at Dreams FC of Ghana the previous week.

Captain Nyima Nwagua was the match winner after his goal on 40 minutes.

The Nigerian flag bearers now have six points from three matches, same as Club Africain, who though enjoy a better goals difference.

The Port Harcourt club will on Wednesday, December 20 face a rematch with Club Africain in Tunis in continuation of the continental competition.

Dreams of Ghana and APC Lobito from Angola are the other teams in Group C.
