Vice President Kashim Shettima is presiding over the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the first since February 20.

Among the attendees is Rivers State Sole Administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas, despite the controversial nature of his position. Sole administrators are not constitutionally recognised under democratic rule, and their appointments face legal challenges.
