Hundreds of people have gathered at the Government House Port Harcourt, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Governor Siminalayi Fubara after the expiration of his six months suspension.

President Tinubu had on Wednesday lifted the State of Emergency and restoration of full democratic governance, with the reinstatement of Governor Siminalayi Fubara his deputy Professor Ngozi Odu and 27 members of the state House of Assembly, starting from Thursday.
However, Fubara’s supporters apparently drawn from the 23 local government areas have been at the Government House since morning.
