Napoleon Ukalikpe of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was proclaimed the winner of yesterday’s by-election in Rivers State’s Ahoada/East Constituency II by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Ukalikpe received 3,980 votes to win the election, according to Rosemary Ogu, the returning officer, who announced the results at the INEC office in Ahoada town.

The INEC results viewing portal now has 86 of the 87 polling unit results published as of the time of filing this report.
This amounts to 98.85% of the results.
