Rio Ferdinand, a Manchester United legend, has urged the club to sign Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.
Ferdinand stated that the 29-year-old attacker has experience and would be a valuable addition to Manchester United’s younger strikers.
Watkin has been linked with a transfer to the Red Devils this summer.
Man United have already signed the likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha and are still keen to add more firepower upfront.

Speaking on his Rio Ferdinand Presents YouTube channel, the former England defender said: “I think he [Watkins] would be a very, very good addition to the Manchester United squad.
“He is 29, that is the only drawback for Manchester United. There is not going to be any sell-on value which I understand is an issue.
“Manchester United need experience at the top of the pitch. They have got Hojlund, Zirkzee and Chido… young, inexperienced players.
Watkins netted 17 goals and provided 14 assists in 54 appearances for Aston Villa last season.
