INDIGENOUS People of Biafra (IPOB) has urged Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano and security chiefs to refrain their personnel from attacking its members during the remembrance of Biafran heroes today.
A statement by the Media and Publicity Officer of IPOB, Mr. Emma Powerful alleged that security agents have been unnecessarily creating tension in the state.
He insisted that IPOB was a non-violent organisation bent on the restoration of Biafra.
“ IPOB, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has never been involved in any crime or any form of violence and security agents should not cause more harm and damage to the non-violent freedom group.”
