In the aftermath of the joint Executive Session held by the two chambers of the National Assembly, on Tuesday, the House of Representatives, on Wednesday, referred the former chairman, House Committee on Appropriations, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin to the Ethics and Privilege Committee, for describing the session as a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) affair.
Also, Hon Mohammed Gudeji Kazuare, an All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker from Jigawa State was also referred to the Ethics and Privilege Committee for accusing Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai and Hon. Kingsley Chinda of collating signatures to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.

This followed two separate matters of privilege raised by Hon Sunday Karimi and Ossai, at Wednesday’s plenary.
