The wife of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Titilayo, on Thursday flagged off distribution. Of exercise books to public primary and secondary schools as part of the interventions of the Renewed Hope Initiative of the office of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
Titilayo explained that the Renewed Hope Initiative of the Federal Government is aimed at bringing about the long-held dreams of every Nigerian for a better life among families and to ensure that every Nigerian receives the attention and comfort they deserve now and soon.
She noted that the flag-off of the distribution of Exercise Books was done in the best interest of the children to assist parents meet the writing material needed for their wards.

Noting that the government alone can not solely cater for education, Titilayo enjoined the parents to complement the effort of the government.
“Consequently, about sixty thousand (60,000) units of Exercise Books were delivered to Osun State for onward distribution to public primary and secondary schools across the state.
“May I use this opportunity to appeal to parents to complement government efforts on our children’s educational needs? Governments the world over, may not adequately provide free education however parents’ support for children in school could be enough motivation to boost children’s learning outcomes.
“Let us support the government of the day as it works tirelessly to support families in the quest for a better life for all Nigerians without exception,” Titilola said.
