The line-up of referees for the Nigeria Premier Basketball League Final 8 has been revealed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 2024 Nigeria Premier Basketball League Final Eight will be starting today in Port Harcourt.
Three FIBA referees were listed, including; Samuel Nuhu, Ikuomola Afolabi and Joyce Wando.
Others include Damilola Lukman, Sijibomi Ojimuyiwa, Idara Sambo, Eddy Tox, Hoseni Musa, Franklin Boniface, Mohammed Sheriff and Alimi Layi.
Defending champions, Rivers Hoopers were drawn with Gombe Bulls, Kwara Falcons, and Nile University Spartans in Group B.
While last year’s runners-up City Chiefs will play Hoops and Read, Kwara Falcons, Police Batons, and Kano Pillars in Group A.
The games will be played in a round-robin format, with each team playing other teams in its group while the top two teams will advance to the semis.
The winner of the final 8 will represent Nigeria at the Basketball Africa League season 5 next year.
