Real Madrid have reportedly agreed to sell Aurelien Tchouameni in a £68m deal to fund the transfer of Rodri.

Reports from Spain indicate manager, Jose Mourinho has sanctioned the transfer of the 26-year-old Frenchman, amid a strong interest from Manchester United.

The Old Trafford club are looking to further bolster their midfield following the acquisition of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.

The Red Devils have recently lost Casemiro, 34, while 25-year-old Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte has been sidelined during a serious injury sustained at the World Cup.

Real Madrid are looking to sign Rodri, who was the best player at the World Cup, from Manchester City.

The 30-year-old has one year left on his City contract and is rated at £85m.

Mourinho had planned to keep Tchouameni, with a new verbal deal already agreed at the Bernabeu.

However, it is understood the club have reviewed the decision and could cash in should the right offer come in.
