Former Real Madrid manager, Xabi Alonso said the club gave players too much powers, reports Spanish outlet La SER.
A club statement said Alonso departed the Spanish giants on Monday by “mutual agreement”, after just seven months in charge.
His ouster came a day after his side lost the Spanish Super Cup title to Barcelona in Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday, Alonso blamed the club for giving the players too much powers, making it difficult for the manager to be truly in charge.
“You can’t give the players this much power,” Alonso told Real Madrid, according to La SER, per Fabrizio Romano.
“It’s impossible for a coach to rule in a dressing room if the club is always taking the players’ side,” the 44-year-old was quoted as saying.
