All Progressives Congress (APC), supporters in Zamfara State are currently jubilating as the party will now field candidates for the general elections following this evening’s ruling by the Court of Appeal.
APC Zamfara State Chairman, Alhaji Lawal, Muhammad Liman, described the Court of Appeal ruling as victory for democracy and therefore called on party members to close ranks and work for the success of the party in the elections.
“This is victory for democracy and rule of law. We are very happy, and we are committed to working for the success of the party in Zamfara State,” he said.
A party faithful, Sikiru Ajakaya, said the ruling by the Appeal Court had lifted the hope of the common man in the country.
“With this ruling, we members of the APC in Zamfara State are ready to ensure the success of our party by winning the elections in the state,” he said.
Streets of Gusau the state capital are currently agog with members of APC supporters dancing around the city.
