ReachOut Nigeria marks 20th anniversary with 100m Rhapsody distribution

ReachOut Nigeria with Rhapsody of Realities

ReachOut Nigeria with Rhapsody of Realities is marking its 20th edition with plans to distribute 100 million copies of the devotional nationwide.

The campaign, with the theme, “Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World,” coincides with Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary and will cover all 774 local government areas of the country.

Organisers said the distribution would target adults, youths, teenagers, children and persons with accessibility needs in cities, towns, villages and hinterlands.

The 20th edition builds on an initiative which began in 2007 with a vision to inspire hope, promote patriotism and reach Nigerians with the message of God’s Word.

Over the years, ReachOut Nigeria has expanded beyond the mass distribution of Rhapsody of Realities to include humanitarian and community-development interventions.

These have included potable-water projects, support for schools and libraries, healthcare interventions, renovation and support for public institutions, as well as other projects addressing community needs across the country.

Rhapsody of Realities, authored by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, is available in 8,123 languages and more than 4,000 dialects, according to the organisers.

The devotional is produced for adults, teenagers and children and is available in print, digital, audio, Braille and Sign Language formats.

As part of activities marking the 20th edition, the devotional will be distributed nationwide in indigenous Nigerian languages and different formats.

The campaign is targeting 1,009 Nigerian languages, with 650 already available in print.

Organisers also announced plans to provide 200 boreholes in 200 communities as part of community-development projects accompanying the anniversary campaign.

Throughout October, activities will be organised under what the campaign describes as its “10 Dimensions of Impact.” They include crusades, church growth, community transformation, community reading outreaches, street expressions, conferences, media and exhibitions, concerts and praise experiences, sports and games, professional outreaches and school programmes.

Other activities lined up include community and end-time crusades, school and reading outreaches, carnivals, floats and processions, concerts, youth programmes, conferences and exhibitions.

There will also be a National Day of Prayer and 31 consecutive days of the ReachOut Nigeria Live Show.

A special ReachOut Nigeria Symposium is scheduled for October 30 to highlight the campaign’s two-decade journey, community projects, innovations and testimonies of beneficiaries.

According to the organisers, the 2026 campaign will extend to offices, shops, schools, barracks, communities and public transportation systems, including buses, trains and aircraft.

They said the anniversary would celebrate two decades of the initiative while renewing its commitment to using Rhapsody of Realities and community-development projects to reach Nigerians across the country.
