Rapper Speed Darlington has been granted bail after over a month in police custody.

Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stanley Alieke posted an update on Instagram, indicating that the court has granted Speed Darlington bail.

“Apki has been granted bail by the court,” he wrote without including much information.

Speed Darlington was arrested on November 27 while playing at a gig in Owerri, Imo State, for allegedly abusing Afrofusion musician Burna Boy.

Despite the challenges, Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju earlier disclosed that the singer would be arraigned within 48 hours or released on bail.

“Our FREP application for Speed Darlington a.k.a has been granted by the court.

“He is to be arraigned within 48 hours or released. Issues around injustice may take time but justice will always prevail,” he shared.
