The brand’s appearance at the platform placed it before buyers, stylists and industry stakeholders drawn from different parts of Africa and the diaspora, further strengthening its engagement within the continental fashion space.
Founder of the fashion outfit, Bright Urhobo, described the showcase as a significant moment for the brand’s growth. “Africa Fashion Week Nigeria brings together serious stakeholders in the industry. For us, it was an opportunity to present our work in a setting that values structure and identity,” he said.
According to him, preparing for the runway required detailed coordination within the studio, from collection development to finishing standards and presentation. He noted that the process pushed the team to refine its internal workflow and ensure consistency across the pieces displayed.
“Platforms like this remind you that African fashion is competing on a serious level,” he said. “Africa Fashion Week Nigeria is not just a showcase, it is a meeting point for serious fashion businesses.”
He added that audience response at the event reaffirmed the brand’s focus on structured silhouettes and careful detailing, rather than trend-driven experimentation.
Urhobo said Ranto Clothings will continue to strengthen its ready-to-wear line while building on the relationships established during Africa Fashion Week Nigeria.
