Quest Merchant Bank Limited has concluded Questember 2026, its inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) month, with interventions spanning financial literacy, environmental sustainability, health and wellbeing, and community support.
Held last month, the programme mobilised employees of the merchant bank to deliver social impact beyond its core financial services, reflecting its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.
At Girls Secondary Grammar School, Ikoyi, the bank conducted a financial literacy and health education outreach for Senior Secondary School Two students. The sessions covered money management, savings, responsible financial decision-making, healthy lifestyle choices and career development, and ended with an interactive quiz to reinforce the lessons.
On environmental sustainability, Quest Merchant Bank partnered with the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) for a community clean-up exercise and donated waste bins to promote proper waste disposal and community ownership of environmental stewardship.
The bank also distributed food items to vulnerable residents under its Food Bank Initiative, while employees visited Living Fountain Home, where they donated essential items and engaged with children in support of social inclusion.

Acting Managing Director/CEO, Afolabi Olorode, said Questember was more than a calendar of CSR activities, describing it as an opportunity to translate the bank’s commitment to responsible banking into meaningful community action.
“Through financial education, environmental initiatives, employee wellness activities, and support for vulnerable groups, we are leveraging our people, resources, and expertise to create sustainable impact and contribute to positive social outcomes,” he said.
The 2026 edition positions Questember as a recurring platform for the bank’s social investment agenda, bringing together employees, partners and community stakeholders to promote financial literacy, wellbeing, environmental responsibility and social development.
