Quench Beverages Limited has introduced a new line of spirits and ready-to-drink (RTD) blends into the Nigerian market, adding to the growing list of local producers expanding offerings in the craft beverage space.
The company announced the rollout in Lagos, stating that the products were developed using a mix of traditional and contemporary production methods.
Founder and CEO Akin Adekeye said the launch reflects the company’s ongoing work with locally rooted drink formulations.
The new line includes variants of 1890 Ògógóró, a palm spirit, and dZēst Waragi, a botanical spirit. The company also unveiled several mixed beverages combining Ògógóró with ingredients such as zobo, Chapman and palm wine. Some non-alcoholic options are included.
According to Quench Beverages, the products are now available in selected supermarkets in Lagos, with wider distribution expected as additional outlets come on board.
The company is also listed as a sponsor for Artcation, an art and lifestyle event taking place later this month.
The introduction of the new range comes at a time when locally produced craft beverages continue to gain visibility in Nigeria’s retail and lifestyle markets.
