Nigeria’s leading real estate firm, Property World African Network (popularly known as the PWAN Group), has appointed Mr Ogwo Jerry Pascal as pioneer Managing Director (MD) for its newest affiliate -PWAN EXTRA

The Group’s Chairman, Dr Augustine Onwumere, who confirmed the appointment while opening PWAN EXTRA’s Office in Lagos recently, described Mr Ogwo as a vibrant, young business developer and strategist who has proved his onions in the realty business.

He said Ogwo is a hardworking professional, who possesses tactful communication skills, outstanding leadership qualities, relationship-building and marketing productiveness. “I have no doubt that he will bring all of these and more to break new grounds in the realty business.”

A graduate of mathematics from Abia State University, Mr Ogwo ventured into the real estate business in 2020, on the platform of the PWAN Group, as a Business Developer. His primary assignment then was to recruit and train real estate network marketers, at the Awoyaya Centre, in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State.

Due to his sterling performance, Ogwo became the personal assistant to the Chairman of PWAN Group and subsequently, the Operations Manager of PWAN MAX, within two years of joining the group.

It was reliably gathered that, as Operations Manager of PWAN MAX, he was instrumental to the mapping out of business strategies, which enabled the company to rake in N1.5 billion monthly.

Thus, he was considered the most suitable officer to pioneer the first PWAN MAX affiliate, in the capacity of a Managing Director.

Prior to joining the PWAN Group, Ogwo had worked variously in the oil and gas, agriculture, and education sectors, where he demonstrated outstanding business sense and record-setting profits and business expansion pedigrees.

His contributions to setting up the green farm project for AJIPAT farms were considered legendary; he was singled out to manage the firm’s other special projects , such as research assignments, presentations and project documentation for marketing communications and business development initiatives.

He repeated the feat while working at PAYCOM OPERA Company.

It was further learnt that the pride of evolving the now viral Opay transaction business using Opay QR and POS machine rightly goes to Mr Ogwo, who was also instrumental to the firm recording N10,000,000 in transactions, monthly.

Accepting his new portfolio in PWAN EXTRA, he expressed profound gratitude to the management of the PWAN Group, for reposing so much confidence in him; adding that it is a great honour he would never joke with.

According to the new MD, grace, hard work, consistency, dedication and remaining focused on the goal have helped him to earn the elevation. “Knowing where one is going should actually help one to focus well, work hard and refuse to be discouraged. When you know what you are there for, no matter what’s going on, you will remain dedicated to the job and what is best for the company. I believe that you will get to where you are heading.”
