Publisher of CityMag News24 Newspaper and Debby Classique Magazine, Dr Debby Goodnews Silas has launched a new international recognition initiative through her platforms.
According to the publisher, the project, titled 40 Power Global Impact Makers, will commence in February 2026 and spotlight 40 individuals monthly whose contributions have made significant impact in their respective fields.
She said that the list will feature 20 Africans and 20 Americans, a move she said reflects her commitment to strengthening ties between Africa and the diaspora through storytelling and recognition.
Goodnews said the initiative is designed to celebrate excellence, preserve legacy and amplify the voices of accomplished professionals whose decades of contributions may not always receive sustained media attention.
Through feature reports, editorial profiles and recognition campaigns, the platforms aim to document achievements across industries, including entertainment, business, humanitarian work and culture.
The publisher noted that the project aligns with her broader vision of deploying media as a tool for empowerment and social impact. Over the years, her publications have focused on profiling notable personalities whose work has influenced communities locally and internationally.
