As a strategic move towards boosting service delivery and customer satisfaction, the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate says it will be deepening its engagement with pensioners and other customers to better appreciate its offerings.

The Executive Secretary of PTAD, Dr. Chioma Ejikeme stated this at the Directorate’s headquarters in Abuja, during the flag-off of the 2022 Customer Service Week themed; “Celebrate Service”,

Ejikeme, who was represented by the Director, Corporate Service Department of the agency, Mr. Sani Mustapha, said the customer service week was aimed at improving interaction and rewarding hard work of staff who ensure that customers and pensioners get premium value.

She said: “Celebrating Customer Service Week draws our attention to the importance of customer service and the people who provide it, the need to boost morale and teamwork, reward employees for the significant work they do and raise awareness of the value of customer service.

“As the pension administrator for the Federal Government retirees under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS), Empathy, Dignity and Care are our watchwords in PTAD when delivering service.

“Having established a SERVICOM desk in PTAD and launched the Service Charter, these are testaments to the value we place on customer satisfaction and holding ourselves accountable to ensure quality service delivery,” she said.

She added that activities have been lined up for the week to discuss salient issues in managing customers to ensure that the Directorate continues to enjoy a seamless process in pension administration.

Also, the National Coordinator/CEO SERVICOM, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli noted that promoting effective and efficient service delivery in MDAs will address service failures in all organs and all levels of government
